Professional Treatment of Woodworm - all the work carried out for you, with a 20 year Guarantee

Normal woodworm treatment in houses consists of cleaning the timbers with a brush or vacuum and then spraying them once or twice using an Insecticide, either Professional Boron based or Permethrin/Cypermethrin based.

Depending on the region in the UK and the size of the property you will pay widely differing rates. Here are our Guideline Prices, excluding VAT. In London and the South East you can expect to pay at least 25% more.

If you would like to proceed with a Professional Treatment, where an Independent Company, known to us for many years, comes to your property and carries out the work and supplies a 20 year Guarantee then call our direct telephone number - 01626 872 886 or E Mail us at: help@propertyrepairsystems.co.uk giving us your Postcode and details of the areas that require treatment. We will then ask a Trusted Company to call you to make an appointment for an Inspection, at which time they will measure the area to be treated and provide a written Quotation. You are under no obligation to accept.

Roof space - spray roof and ceiling rafters, including cleaning and normal insulation rolling up and replacing afterwards

Terraced House - £340 plus VAT

Semi Detached House - £380 plus VAT

Detached House - £420 plus VAT

Timber Floors, per floor - spray floor boards top and bottom, and accessible sides of joists

Terraced House - £100 plus VAT

Semi Detached House - £120 plus VAT

Detached House - £140 plus VAT

Extra Costs

You may need additional work if the wood has been eaten by other types of insect (for example, Death Watch Beetle, in Oak) or if dampness has caused wood rot. The Surveyor from our Independent Trusted Companies will advise you of any other building defects that need attention and may provide costings at your request (for example, you may need some new ground floor air bricks).

None of the Guideline Prices include moving carpets or furniture. Some floors may have been covered in laminate flooring, hardboard or plywood and will require considerable extra work to gain access to the undersides. If in doubt send us some photographs to: help@propertyrepairsystems.co.uk or call us on the direct Helpline - 01626 872886 .
